CentraState Healthcare System recently honored six RNs with its 19th an- nual Nursing Excellence Awards for demonstrating exceptional clinical skill and leadership in the hospital and in the community.
The 2019 award winners are: Margaret Kurczeski, RN, BSN, Emergency Department, Critical Care/Emergency Department Award; Daniella Davis, RN, BSN, 4 North, Medical Surgical Award; and Laurie DeMonde-Jaffe, RN, BSN, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Perioperative Nursing Award; There- sa Faiella, RN, LDRP Maternal Child Health Department, Maternal Child Health Award; Emily Rosenberger, RN, BSN, 1 South Behavioral Health Unit, Behavioral Health Nursing Award; and Donna Roe, RN, BSN, 4 North, Registered Nurse Advanced Award.

Nurses who win the Nursing Excellence Award must demonstrate Mag-

The award winners were celebrated at a ceremony during Nurses Week at the hospital. Each winner received a framed certificate, flowers, a monetary
award and a pin. Their names will also be added to a permanent plaque in the hallway outside of the nursing administrative offices.
