Antheia Gynecology, located in East Windsor, NJ, provides expert gynecological and surgical care to women of all ages, keeping up with the most recent advances in gynecology, including robotic surgery. Dr. Helen Simigiannis has been in private practice since 2005. She is a board-certified OB/GYN, who received her undergraduate degree in the Biological Sciences at Rutgers University in 1993. She then received her M.D. from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Creighton University Medical Center. When she started up Antheia Gynecology, her primary focus was on individualized and attentive gynecologic ambulatory and minimally invasive surgical care. Working with her is Valerie Fulton, a Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
Dr. Simigiannis is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a member of the North American Menopause Society, where she has achieved the distinction of National Certified Menopause Practitioner. She is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, (AAGL), North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health and the National Vulvodynia Association. She is also member of the medical staff at Penn Medicine Princeton Health Center in Plainsboro and CentraState Medical Center in Freehold.
The team offers well-woman exams, Pap smears, human papillomavirus (HPV) and sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing, birth control consultations, and treatment for painful sexual intercourse. It also treats a number of conditions like pelvic pain, abnormal periods, vaginitis, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and urinary incontinence. They also offer cutting-edge in-office treatments like the Monalisa Touch® to restore vaginal health for menopausal women. The practice also focuses on diagnosing and treating menopause symptoms. Dr. Simigiannis is a certified menopause specialist that values open communication and individualized menopause care.
