University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and University of Wisconsin-Madison Data Now Available in Post-Secondary Employment Outcomes
The U.S. Census Bureau updated the Post-Secondary Employment Out- comes (PSEO) statistics with the release of earnings tabulations for the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
In addition, the Census Bureau updated the PSEO visualization tool to include these two institutions and to allow for filtering by degree level.
PSEO tabulations show earnings and employment outcomes for graduates of post-secondary institutions in the United States and are generated by linking grad- uate transcript records to Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics (LEHD) data. The pilot release of earnings outcomes reports earnings by institution, degree field, degree level, and graduation cohort for 1, 5 and 10 years after graduation. This offers prospective students a comprehensive assessment tool to see how much mon- ey they might make by degree and institution nationwide.
In addition to the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and the University of Wis- consin-Madison, PSEO includes data from the University of Texas system and pub- lic institutions in Colorado.
PSEO is conducted in cooperation with higher education institutional systems to examine college degree attainment and graduate earnings. Additional higher education institutions will be added to the database in the coming months.
